Carson + John's Engagement Session

Carson knew she wanted her engagement photos to have a dramatic sunset and striking mountains as her backdrop. I was up fo the adventure and we both traveled 2 hours from Atlanta to the glorious Bell Mountain in Hiawassee, GA. Bell Mountain is a part of the Appalachian Mountains in North Georgia and overlooks Lake Chatuge. The windy road takes you to a parking lot at the very tip of Bell Mountain with a parking lot decorated with graffiti-covered boulders. The hike is fairly minimal with 2 sets of peaks to choose from: one with a staircase and one with a short rocky trail.

We arrived right before golden hour so we could get full sun, sunset, and blue hour photos all within this 1 session. Carson and John now have an album full of gorgeous sunset couple's portraits that showcase their love during this magical time in their life.

They tie the knot in October 2024!
